Our Story

After 30 years in pharmaceutical R&D and consultancy with AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Glaxo, and multiple CRO/CDMOs, founder Gorkh Singh saw the same challenge again and again: talented scientists leaving academia without the practical skills, support, or networks to succeed in industry.

He created Pharmalytical to close that gap. Since 2017, we’ve provided hands-on training, mentoring, and consultancy designed to bridge worlds: academia and industry, learning and doing, uncertainty and confidence.

About Our Founder

Gorkh Singh has worked in the research and development laboratories of AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Glaxo for 25 years, with an additional 5 years of experience working in the CRO/CDMO sector with Sai Life Sciences, Biosynth Carbosynth, and Patheon (a division of Thermo Fisher).

He founded Pharmalytical in 2017 to upskill and train clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, focusing on analytical and separation science. Over the past eight years, he has devised training strategies to help individuals improve their technical capabilities in chromatography and a range of laboratory techniques.
